Practice Information
If you’ve found your way here, I imagine a part of you is ready for something to shift — even if you’re not quite sure what that looks like yet. Maybe you feel stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you. Maybe you give so much to others that there’s little left for yourself. Or perhaps you’re longing to understand your emotions, to quiet the self-doubt, or to feel more at ease in your own skin.
Wherever you find yourself, I want you to know that you’re not alone. I’ll meet you with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your pace — never pushing, always walking beside you.
Many of the people I work with identify as Highly Sensitive People, deep feelers, or empaths. They move through the world with a heightened awareness — noticing the subtle shifts in energy, the unspoken emotions in a room, the quiet changes in someone’s tone. This sensitivity is a beautiful strength, offering depth, intuition, and compassion. And at the same time, it can feel overwhelming and deeply tiring.
Beneath this way of being, there is often a quiet sense of loneliness — a feeling of not always being fully seen or understood. And alongside it, a gentle, persistent question: “Why am I the way I am?” I also support individuals who carry that same question in different forms across their lives — through anxiety, burnout, stress, perfectionism, grief, self-doubt, people-pleasing, communication struggles, caregiving fatigue, and a longing for deeper connection and belonging.
My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in the belief that you already carry the wisdom you need for healing. Together, we’ll bring gentle awareness to the parts of you that feel stuck or protective, while also nurturing the parts that long for ease, confidence, and peace. I work with your nervous system — never against it — and I honor the uniqueness of your story at every step. Because we are all complex, there is no one-size-fits-all way to heal. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, weaving them together to meet your individual needs.
The main modality I use is Internal Family Systems (IFS) — a compassionate approach that views us as having many inner parts. These parts might include the one that worries endlessly, the one that strives to get everything “just right,” or the one that feels weary and longs to rest. Each part has a reason for being here — a story to tell and a need to be understood. Together, we’ll learn to listen to these parts with kindness and curiosity, helping them find healing and harmony within you.
For those new to counselling, I understand how vulnerable it can feel to take that first step. Reaching out for support takes courage, and I want to acknowledge the significance of doing so. Together, we can begin to explore what’s been keeping you stuck, bring awareness to your experiences, and create a path toward more balance, clarity, and ease.
With genuine warmth, presence, and gentle strength, I look forward to connecting with you.
