Practice Information

Always feeling overwhelmed and under pressure to "fit in" and be the person other people want you to be? Maybe you don't remember when the need for approval became the critical voice, or when you started to tear yourself apart every time you made a mistake. Maybe you don't remember how to say "no" to someone else, no matter how stressed-out it made you feel. Maybe you don't even remember a time you didn't feel like this. But one thing is for sure: you're ready to feel some relief, and put an end to your sense of overwhelm, guilt, and obligation. You want to stop doubting yourself and actually own your time and enjoy your life.

I specialize in helping neurodivergent folks who experienced trauma, to feel at peace again. Clients come to me for someone who really "get" their experiences on a deeper level and provide a place for your whole self. Our sessions are more than talking; we'll work with your body and go at your own pace, and you never have to be where you don't feel ready for.

Many late-diagnosed adults (including myself) arrive at counselling after years of difficult experiences, including:
- struggles with persistent shame, trauma, perfectionism, depression, and anxiety
- chronic experiences of emotional and sensory overwhelm
- knowing how to change in theory but being unable to put it into practice

I hope to provide you with a place of comfort as a starting point to nourish a deeper and stronger connection with your inner experiences, in and out of sessions with me. Neurodivergence counselling means recognizing and respecting the unique ways your brain functions, validating your unique lived experiences, and providing a space where your feelings are seen, felt, and understood.

My approach counselling through Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy(AEDP) and Emotionally Focused Therapy(EFT). I hold training, post-licensing, in both AEDP and EFT, in addition to ADHD, autism, and complex trauma.

AEDP and EFT are gentle ways of making sense of your emotional experiences. Our sessions won't be only talk, because neurodivergence and trauma needs more. Healing starts with getting to the heart of the matter. I'll help you with getting your body to feel safe enough to undo hurt and take in new and positive experiences, in and out of therapy.

Here, you can show up as your raw, vulnerable self, and really get to know the person you are, too. I'll meet you wherever you are on your healing journey, help you create new experiences, and relate to yourself differently through somatic therapy. You don't have to do it alone. Reach out through my website to schedule a free 20 minute consult today.
