Practice Information
Dancing through life with curiosity, compassion, and care, I come to counselling with an open mind, a warm heart, and a nurturing soul. As an artist, educator, and advocate for radical self-love, I am passionate about helping humans reconnect with the wisdom of the body. My counselling practice supports caregivers, creatives, and neuro-complex folks as they reclaim their sense of self, build anchors of safety, and cultivate resilience in the presence of adversity.
With a BSc in Kinesiology, a BFA in Dance, and an MA in Counselling Psychology, I understand the importance and complexity of supporting health and wellness holistically. I combine my enthusiasm for scientific inquiry and my adoration for artistic expression to harness my ability to guide the intentional practice of relational care.
With empathy and honesty, I provide neuro-affirming care that harnesses the body’s natural ability to move towards health, connection, and aliveness. My therapeutic work focuses on bolstering relational care and is rooted in evidence-based practices that are neuroscientific, attachment-based, emotion-focused, and trauma-informed. Therapy sessions include a combination of relationship building, psychoeducation, experiential learning, and somatic exercises that help guide the development of adaptive patterns of relating that support connection to self, other, and the world.
I support clients through a multitude of life concerns, such as:
- Processing big feelings
- Navigating life transitions
- Facilitating agency in decision-making
- Identifying sense of self
- Understanding neuro-complex needs
- Actioning attuned self-care
- Shifting rigid relationship patterns
- Bolstering boundary-setting
- Repairing attachment wounds
- Moving with grief
- Receiving love
