Renee Bartkiewicz is both a Registered Clinical Counsellor and an Art Therapist. In her inclusive, creative, and collaborative practice, she sees individuals that present with a variety of issues.
It is Renee's goal to create a strong therapeutic relationship where an individual feels seen, heard, understood, and inspired to live the life they deserve.
Renee specializes in trauma work, and has extensive experience with both male and female survivors of sexual abuse. From a feminist, person-centred perspective, she strongly advocates a holistic mind body connection that generates client vitality and possibility. Her eclectic skill set includes EMDR and SRT and focuses on a strength based, mindful approach that emphasis compassion and empowerment. With over 20 years of experience, Renee has worked with both male and female adult individuals presenting with the following concerns, and others:

Iin addition to private practice, Renee is actively involved in Vancouver's non-profit community. She continues to counsel with the BC Society for Male Survivor's of Sexual Abuse, as well as the Woman Against Violence program at Burnaby Family Life.
