Practice Information

Hi, I'm Natasha (she/her)

At the heart of the inspiration for the practice is korenine, which means "roots" in Slovenian. As a half-Slovenian counsellor, reconnecting with my roots has been part of my own journey toward feeling more grounded and connected. In Slovenian culture there's the burja, a strong wind that bends trees without breaking them, because their roots run deep. That's how I see counselling: growing your own root system together, so you feel more firmly grounded, no matter what life brings.

My approach is relational and attachment-based. I won't sit across from you as a blank-faced, note-taking therapist. I'll be actively in your corner, so you feel seen, understood, and not alone as we work through things together.

WHAT TO EXPECT

I believe our relationship is central to the healing process, not separate from it. Rather than analyzing feelings from a detached distance, we gently notice how emotions show up in real time and work through them together. I'm engaged and responsive throughout, meeting you where you are without pushing you faster than you're ready to go.

This process helps you feel safe enough to heal, reconnect with a felt sense of your own strengths, and grow roots that hold steady even when life gets stormy.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master's degree (MSc, MA), I bring both clinical training and my own lived experience as a late-diagnosed AuDHD adult and trauma survivor. I know firsthand how hard and lonely healing can feel, and I want to offer a space where you feel deeply understood, not judged.

Currently, I'm offering sessions in-person (coming soon) in North Vancouver, BC, and online (currently available) across British Columbia.

I work with young adults navigating:

  • Late-diagnosed neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism, and AuDHD)
  • Trauma recovery, attachment wounds, and nervous system healing
  • Family dynamics, cultural expectations, and relationship patterns
  • Anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and burnout
  • People-pleasing, perfectionism, and identity exploration

If therapy is something you're curious about, please reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. We can spend a bit of time getting to know each other and see if we're a good fit. I look forward to hearing your story.
