Nancy offers client-centred support to people navigating emotional distress, relationship challenges, family conflict, separation, and divorce. Nancy provides a supportive, non-judgmental space in which clients can better understand their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and strengthen communication. Her services are tailored to each client’s circumstances, goals, strengths, and readiness for change.
Her therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based and person-centred modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy.
Depending on a client’s needs, counselling may support emotional regulation, distress management, healthier boundaries, stronger relationships, and greater clarity in complex personal or family circumstances.
Nancy has extensive experience supporting families and individuals affected by mental health, intimate partner violence, addiction, self-harm, separation and divorce. She provides individual counselling, family counselling, along with other specialized services.
Within the context of the Collaborative Family Law process, Nancy also serves as a separation and co-parenting therapist, as well as a designated child specialist. Furthermore, she is a qualified writer of hear the Child and Views of the Child reports. Nancy is also a qualified parenting coordinator with the BC Parenting Coordination Roster Society.
Nancy's goal is to provide services designed to reduce conflict, improve co-parent communication, and promote stability and well-being for children. She helps clients manage the emotional intensity of separation, communicate more effectively, and make thoughtful decisions that reflect what matters most to them and their families.
