Positive change in your life is possible and you have already taken the first step by searching to see what help is available.
During the last twelve years I have worked in a provincial treatment centre, a community mental health clinic, and a regional health authority crisis program. I have a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and post graduate training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Attachment, Solution Focused Treatment, as well as Gottman Method Couples Therapy. My clinical work includes complex trauma, risk assessment, and crisis management. I specialize in supporting people to improve the relationship they have with themselves which leads to healthier and more satisfying relationships with others.
Choosing a counsellor and reaching out can feel confusing and overwhelming. I know because I have sat on both sides of the counselling room. Wherever you are on your journey, just know that help is available. Feel free to reach out for a free twenty minute consultation so that you can get a sense for how it will feel for us to work together.
