About Marcia
I support individuals navigating challenges in romantic relationships, friendship breakups, grief, and the complexities of letting go. I also guide those struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma and internal worth/the relationship with self.
Whether you’re navigating relationship difficulties, working towards repair, healing after a painful ending, or adjusting to unexpected change, my intention is to help you find clarity, acceptance, and peace. Together, we can explore unhealthy relationship patterns, process emotional wounds, and rebuild your sense of self-worth.
If you’ve experienced narcissistic or emotionally harmful dynamics, you may find yourself questioning your value, struggling to set boundaries, or feeling disconnected from who you are. My work is centred on rebuilding self-trust, rediscovering your strengths, and learning to prioritize your own needs. I believe that an essential part of the human experience is to be witnessed for who you are and your experiences. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, deepen self-understanding, and develop aligned relationships with yourself and others. Healing isn’t about forgetting the past or having everything figured out. It’s about understanding your experiences, letting go of what no longer serves you, and making room for new possibilities. We all need meaningful connections, balance, and the relationship with ourselves to be rooted in authenticity. Together, we can work toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom.
I pull from a wide range of theoretical tools that I have learned to support those who want to better understand themselves and develop action-based strategies to overcome challenges. With over a decade of experience in mental health, my approach aims to promote personal growth and focuses on symptom reduction. Often, this results in an improved relationship with the self and others, as well as an enhanced quality of life. The deeper that we understand ourselves, the more opportunity we have to live in alignment with our wants and values and make clear decisions.
I view counselling as a special type of relationship, one that promotes self-reflection and the opportunity to explore new perspectives through wholehearted support and guidance. Often, difficult times can seem daunting and lonely. I am here to uncover the light in the space for hope, healing, self-discovery, and ultimately, change.
*Offering free 15-minute consultations to determine if my approach aligns with your needs. The counsellor-client relationship is one of the most important factors for being able to make progress in therapy and achieve wellness. I look forward to meeting you on your path and navigating the road forward together.*
