Life experiences can shape us in ways that aren't always easy to understand. Trauma, difficult relationships, major life changes, neurodivergence, and experiences of being misunderstood or marginalized can all influence how we see ourselves and navigate the world. Sometimes we know something isn't working, but aren't sure how to make sense of it or where to begin.
I'm Linda (she/her), a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a background in nursing, inpatient mental health, and frontline mental health support. My approach draws from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and somatic therapies. I work with trauma and its many intersections, while recognizing that no two people's experiences are the same.
I have a particular interest in supporting people navigating the psychological and emotional impacts of occupational injuries, chronic pain, and significant changes to their health, identity, and sense of self.
My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and grounded in social justice-oriented, intersectional values. I value curiosity, nuance, and making room for the parts of your experience that may not fit neatly into a diagnosis or conventional understanding.
Therapy is an opportunity to explore, process, question, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences, without needing to have everything figured out before you begin.
I invite you to visit my website to learn more about my approach and get a sense of whether working together might feel like a good fit.
