Client Focus

Our work together will be formed around what works for you and your goals, whether that’s exploratory work, personal growth, or skills building.

Session Details

My approach is unhurried and steady. In a 50-minute session, you will have time to share, be deeply understood, and explore ways of moving forward.

Client Outcomes

Most clients experience a shift, big or small, within the first month of working together consistently.

Therapy Style

Therapy is an opportunity to face what you’re struggling with, with the help of a compassionate and skilled guide. I am honoured to take on that role.

Frequently asked questions

Yes! I offer direct billing to SunLife, GreenShield, Pacific Blue Cross and most major insurance providers through Telus Health eClaims. I can also provide you with receipts as needed for you to submit to your provider yourself.

Please check with your extended health provider to see if individual or couples counselling is covered by your plan.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what has brought you to counselling. We may talk about what’s been going on in your life, what you’re hoping for from counselling, and any questions you may have about the process.

The first session is simply a place to start the conversation and begin exploring what support might look like for you. If you're still feeling unsure, you can book a free, no obligation, 15-minute virtual consultation through my website.

The frequency of counselling varies depending on each person’s needs and goals. Many people begin with sessions once per week or every two weeks, especially at the start of the process.

Over time, sessions may become less frequent as things begin to shift and you feel more confident moving forward. At any point, we can discuss what feels most helpful for you and adjust as needed.

Absolutely. I take an affirming approach, which means I will ask for your personal experiences, preferences, and needs and use that information to lead us in our work together.
