Most of the people I work with aren't in crisis. They're functioning — sometimes quite well on the surface — but something feels off. Maybe anxiety is running quietly in the background, making things harder than they need to be. Maybe a relationship keeps hitting the same wall. Maybe work has started to feel hollow, or a career change is looming and you're not sure what you actually want. Maybe you just can't shake the sense that you're not quite living the way you want to be.
That gap between where you are and where you want to be is exactly where this work happens.
I'm Kevin Erickson, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Certified Coach based in Vancouver. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, career and identity questions, burnout, and the kind of general dissatisfaction that's hard to name but easy to feel. I offer in-person sessions in Vancouver and secure virtual sessions throughout British Columbia.
My background combines psychotherapy and coaching, along with graduate training in both psychology and leadership. That combination shapes how I work: I'm genuinely interested in understanding what's driving your experience, but I'm equally interested in helping you do something with that understanding. This isn't just reflection for its own sake. It's insight that moves.
What I think makes this work effective is the balance between honesty and support. You'll feel heard — but you'll also be gently challenged when that's what's needed. I don't believe growth happens only in comfort, and I don't think most people need someone to simply validate where they already are. What they need is a clear-eyed, supportive perspective — and a real plan for moving forward.
If something here resonates, I'd welcome the conversation.
