Jennifer offers a safe, healing space for women that recognizes the connection between mind and body to allow for emotional expression, truth sharing, and compassionate support through challenges related to career, relationships, and loss.
Jennifer provides phone and video/virtual counselling to individual clients across British Columbia, and is available weekday evenings for appointments.
She encourages goal setting and skill building to create behavioral and emotional balance. In their work with Jennifer, clients will find a compassionate and engaged therapist who will help them imagine desired outcomes and create a roadmap to achieve their goals. She balances offering a safe space to process emotions, explore and address past trauma, transition to a focus on future steps, and connection to useful resources.
As a Metis practitioner with two decades of experience supporting Indigenous families, Jennifer focuses her practice on supporting Indigenous women, who face the double burden of sexism and discrimination. In this space, the knowledge, strength and experiences of all women are honored in their journey toward wellness and balance.
Jennifer is passionate about supporting women to live life to the fullest and believes strongly in the value of connection and caring. She encourages clients to inquire about her values and methods in order to find the best client-counsellor fit. Jennifer offers clients a free initial consultation to support this process.
