About Hayley
Hi there, I’m Hayley.
I am a holistic counsellor supporting women and young adults through anxiety, people-pleasing, self-doubt, relationship struggles, and postpartum mental health.
I am a firm believer that there is nothing to be “fixed,” because there is nothing inherently wrong with you. You have simply been responding to what has happened to you in life, and you deserve the space to understand these responses with compassion rather than judgment. I also believe that anxiety can overestimate the threat and underestimate your ability to cope, often leaving you questioning your ability to handle whatever comes your way.
Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, help your nervous system learn that it no longer needs to rely on them, and learn to distinguish between your anxiety and intuition. This is something I’ve had the privilege of witnessing in my work with clients time and time again: with the right support, meaningful change is possible, and you can begin to feel better, too.
I believe in the deep connection between the mind and body. My approach is primarily somatic, helping you understand how your experiences show up in your body and nervous system, while also exploring the thoughts and beliefs that shape how you feel and respond to the world around you. I integrate other therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, to help you make sense of these patterns and begin to shift them. Our sessions are tailored to your unique needs because healing isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach.
My hope is that through our work together, you begin to see yourself with more compassion and understanding, reconnect with your body, mind, and heart, and discover that the parts of you that you may have spent years trying to change were often the very parts that were trying to protect you.
If you’re ready to begin your healing journey, I invite you to reach out so we can explore what working together might look like. You deserve a life that feels less like survival and more like being yourself, and you don't have to navigate it all alone.
