Practice Information
Transformation comes from experience. From our very first session together, we will explore what happens when you get to experience the safety, connection, presence and aliveness you've been longing to feel - right here, right now. Expanding our story of what is possible for us to feel allows change to take root from the get-go. I practice with an eye always turned toward the collective wounds we each carry from the trauma of social injustice. My experiential and attachment-based approach is anchored in my professional trainings in AEDP, Focusing Oriented Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
I am honoured to support with relational anxiety, trauma, gender and sexuality, burn out, high-masking newly or undiagnosed neurodivergence, men seeking deeper connections, and partnerships:
- My work with relational anxiety and trauma asks our remembered selves: what emotional learning arose from what happened to us?
- My work with men seeks reclamation of the parts of us we may have needed to disown, at the cost of who we are.
- I bring a liberatory lens to my work with queer, trans, neurodivergent, and/or non-monogamous individuals and partners.
- My work with high-masking, neurodivergent, socially anxious and/or highly analytic people begins with bringing greater presence and safety to our emotional lives.
- I practice trauma-focused therapy that honours what deeply courageous work it is to ground into emotional safety and connection with another human, and venture to meet the places inside us which have been alone with overwhelming experience.
Most importantly, as a trans and queer therapist, I know the power of being joined by those we recognize as our people in the journey to arrive to ourselves. Whoever you are, if you feel recognized here, I warmly invite you to reach out.
