Practice Information
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) working with adults and couples, offering depth-oriented psychotherapy in English and in Hungarian both online across British Columbia and in person in Vancouver.
My approach is relational and psychodynamically informed, integrating mentalization-based treatment (MBT), mindfulness-based practice, and a neuroscientific understanding of the mind. Therapy begins with careful listening and attunement, creating a space where your experience can be understood with precision. From there, we explore underlying patterns and relational dynamics in a way that supports more lasting change.
Prior to becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Canada, I trained as a medical doctor in Europe and worked in clinical research in women’s health. After immigrating to Canada, I pursued advanced training in mindfulness-based approaches, including MBSR and chronic pain management, and completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). I am currently further training in mentalization-based treatment. This interdisciplinary background allows me to hold both psychological and physiological dimensions of distress with nuance.
I work with a wide range of concerns. Many clients I see have been given multiple diagnoses, often reflecting deeper, interconnected patterns in their emotional and relational lives. This can include experiences that feel confusing, persistent, or difficult to shift despite previous efforts.
If this resonates, I invite you to reach out for a brief consultation to explore whether working together feels like a good fit. There is no right way to begin — we can start wherever you are.
