Practice Information
You may appear to have it all together on the outside, but inside, you’re overthinking, criticizing yourself, feeling emotionally exhausted, or avoiding things that feel too difficult right now.
Perhaps you worry about disappointing people, put everyone else’s needs ahead of your own, or feel as though you should somehow be doing better—even when you’re already trying so hard. You may be struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, body image, compulsive eating, depression, or painful relationship patterns.
You don’t need a diagnosis or the right words to reach out.
Hi, I’m Dana. I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor, a human, and recovering people-pleaser. For over 15 years, I’ve supported women in understanding and changing patterns that may be rooted in attachment wounds, trauma, or other difficult life experiences.
I believe the ways we learn to cope develop for a reason. You are not broken, and you don’t need to be fixed. Together, we’ll make sense of what has been keeping you stuck and find new ways of responding to your relationships, and life’s challenges.
Central to my practice is the belief that you are the expert on you. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. We’ll explore what works best for you so you can feel more confident, connected, and more at peace with who you are.
I offer counselling in North Vancouver and online throughout British Columbia.
If you’re wondering whether we might be a good fit, I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation.
No pressure. No commitment. Just a conversation.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Many extended health plans cover counselling services provided by a CCC; however, coverage varies by plan. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider, and I’m happy to answer any questions about receipts or reimbursement. Direct billing may be available for participating insurance plans.
