Practice Information
Maybe you've been carrying something for a long time.
Perhaps anxiety has become a constant companion. Maybe you're grieving a relationship, navigating estrangement, struggling with self-doubt, or finding yourself caught in the same painful patterns despite your best efforts to change.
Often, the struggles we experience in the present make sense when we understand the experiences that shaped us. The ways we learned to protect ourselves, stay connected, avoid conflict, or survive difficult circumstances can continue to influence our relationships, emotions, and sense of self long after the original situation has passed.
Therapy offers a space to slow down and become curious about those patterns rather than judging them. Together, we'll explore not only what's hurting, but also the wisdom behind the ways you've learned to cope.
My goal is not to fix you. I don't believe you're broken. I am here to help you find more peace.
Instead, I see therapy as a collaborative process of understanding, healing, and reconnecting with the parts of yourself that may have been carrying pain, fear, grief, responsibility, or shame for a very long time.
Along the way, we'll work to better understand your emotions, your relationships, your nervous system, and your needs. We'll explore what is no longer serving you while building new ways of relating to yourself and others that feel more authentic and sustainable.
My approach is integrative and grounded primarily in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Brainspotting, a brain-body approach that supports deeper emotional processing and healing. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to help you explore your experiences in a way that includes both mind and body.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, estrangement, or a major life transition, you don't have to carry it alone.
If you'd like to see whether we're a good fit, I invite you to book a free 20-minute consultation.
I have a Co-Therapist and Therapy Dog called Luna that may be present in our sessions. Clients describe her energy and presence often as calming and nurturing. Your comfort is my priority and her inclusion would be discussed prior.
