Practice Information

How often do you catch yourself comparing your life to others? We’re bombarded with pressure to be more - more successful, more attractive, just… more everything. It’s easy to feel never enough, stuck in self-doubt or burnout. Sound familiar?

You might be struggling with:

  • Accepting where you are right no
  • A cycle of self-criticism—swinging between overwhelm and exhaustion
  • Focusing on what’s undone rather than your achievements
  • Persistent anxiety, comparison, or a lack of joy

Why Me?

You’re not alone. I've been there too - navigated Ivy League education, cooperate ladder and start up life.

These experiences taught me this: ambition and achievement doesn't protect you from burnout, anxiety, or self-doubt. I now offer individual counselling and family therapy for professionals and immigrants who want more than just "getting by."

I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds of individuals—fresh graduates, mid-career professionals, and everyone in between—as they launched their careers and navigated life’s big transitions.

Together, we'll untangle what's weighing on you, and build resilience that actually lasts—not because you push harder, but because you feel steadier inside.

What’s the Journey Like?

I offer in-person therapy in Nanaimo, BC (starting 2026 Fall), and virtual sessions across BC. All sessions are delivered through a secure online video platform—or by phone if that’s your preference. I provide client-centred counselling, which means your sessions are tailored to you and whatever you want to explore. Here are some areas we can focus on:

  • Manage burnout and quiet self-criticism.
  • Shift from comparison to self-acceptance.
  • Reclaim joy in your achievements.
  • Master effective coping strategies
  • Establish boundaries with confidence.

It's natural to feel uncertain before your first therapy inquiry:

“Is my concern valid enough?”
“Will this person understand me?”
“What if I'm making too big a deal of this?”

You don't need to arrive with a perfect story or a clear diagnosis.

Just showing up with a question — that is already a courageous beginning.
