You might have recently experienced something traumatic like sexual violence. Or maybe you're in the trenches decades later, trying to navigate flashbacks and painful anxiety. You're not alone. It's normal to grapple with confusion around your identity and your past after trauma. My goal is to help you build safety, mourn your experience, and reconstruct a sense of who you are. Our experiences leave marks on our relationships. You may struggle with being vulnerable, find yourself easily triggered, or have complex feelings about yourself. We can let these moments guide us to the parts of you that need tending to and explore them together.

I use a feminist approach and engage my true self in our sessions. We'll use our relationship to learn about your emotional experience in a way that might feel new or gently challenging, to create new wiring in the brain and promote positive change in your life.
