Practice Information
I believe counselling should provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly about what you are experiencing and begin making meaningful changes in your life.
I work with adults, young adults, adolescents, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, low self-esteem, life transitions, or emotional challenges.
My approach is collaborative and individualized. Rather than applying the same method to every person, I work with you to understand your experiences, strengths, needs, and goals. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to distress and develop practical strategies for creating healthier ways of thinking, coping, and responding.
My therapeutic work draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed practice, mindfulness-based approaches, solution-focused strategies, motivational interviewing, and other integrative therapeutic techniques.
I also have experience supporting children, adolescents, individuals with autism and developmental differences, caregivers, and people navigating major life changes.
As someone who understands the complexities of adapting to new environments and cultures, I am particularly interested in supporting immigrants and individuals experiencing cross-cultural challenges, identity transitions, isolation, adjustment difficulties, and the emotional demands associated with building a life in a new country.
Counselling is available in both English and Farsi, allowing clients to communicate in the language in which they feel most comfortable.
My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop effective coping strategies, strengthen your emotional resilience, and move toward a life that feels healthier, more balanced, and meaningful.
