I am accepting new referrals for both in person counselling (office located in Duncan, BC) or virtual counselling.
I've been a counsellor for over 15 years and have worked in a number of counselling settings (in patient, outpatient, one to one, groups and facilitate workshops). I'm currently seeing pre-teens, teens, adults, couples and families. I believe in talking about what you want to talk about and working on what you want to work on. I offer short and long term counselling for individuals, couples and families through an online virtual platform or in person and offer days/evening availability.
I tend to work from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and am trained in Trauma Informed Practice and can do Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am currently in the process of completing a two year Eating Disorders Certification course and have been expanding my work to work with individuals struggling with body image, emotional eating, disordered eating and eating disorders.
Andee has recently completed the Certification for Practitioners for working with individuals with ADHD.
I work with people who might be struggling with:
-Anxiety, OCD, Panic, Phobias, Social Anxiety, dissociation, generalized anxiety
-Addiction, substances and process addictions (gambling, shopping, sex, pornography, gaming)
