Practice Information
I am a Licensed Psychologist who primarily works in psychoeducational assessment with people of all ages, and therapy with adolescents and adults. Psychoeducational assessments are wholistic and look at things such as learning, academic skills, daily living, and emotional/behavioural functioning. In completing psychoeducaitonal assessments, I typically assess for things like learning disorders, intellectual disability, ADHD and mental health, with the goal of providing recommendations and strategies to help you in school, work, or daily life.
My approach to therapy consists of an integrated approach. I have worked with many individuals who are a good fit for DBT, meaning they may have difficulties with regulating their emotions, tolerating distress, relational difficulties, or other problems impacting their daily functioning. I worked as part of a formal DBT treatment team for several years, and am now enjoying working from a DBT-informed individual therapy approach. I also utilize narrative therapy in my practice and strive to foster a culture of non-oppression. I often explore systems, social constructs, and the ways these influence our perceptions or ourselves and can contribute to problems in our lives. The goal of my therapeutic approach is to work alongside clients of the masters of their stories, while we seek to develop alternative ways of coping and viewing themselves and their problems.
For more information or to book an appointment, please call me or visit my website. I look forward to hearing from you.
In fall 2026, I will also be completing Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) training and look forward to welcoming more patients who are seeking in trauma-focused therapy beginning November 2026.
