If you’ve been looking through multiple profiles, this is a gentle reminder that taking one small step forward can be more meaningful than not reaching out at all.
I work with adults impacted by relational and event-based trauma, including intimate partner violence (IPV), emotional abuse, difficult relationships, and motor vehicle accidents. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward. You may be struggling to trust others, feeling unlike the person you used to be, or finding that the ways you’ve coped in the past are no longer working.
I also support women who feel overwhelmed by the many roles they carry, partner, parent, daughter, professional, caregiver, or the person everyone relies on. When so much of your energy goes toward meeting the needs of others, it can become difficult to understand what you need, who you are, and what you want for your own life. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and develop a deeper understanding of who you are beyond the roles you hold.
Some clients come to therapy during a transition or turning point. Perhaps a coping strategy that once helped you get through a difficult period is no longer serving you. Maybe you’re ready to break old patterns, learn new skills, strengthen your relationships, set boundaries, or develop healthier ways of responding to stress and emotions. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy, you may simply recognize that something needs to change.
My approach focuses on understanding how your experiences have shaped the way you think, feel, relate, and respond. I support clients in processing trauma’s impact across both mind and body while building insight, emotional regulation, resilience, and self-understanding.
Using EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT-informed approaches, and mindfulness, we work toward moving beyond “band-aid” coping and addressing the deeper impacts of what you’ve experienced. Therapy does not have to mean reliving everything that happened to you. Instead, we can work at a pace that feels manageable while developing tools and skills that support meaningful and sustainable change.
Whether you are healing from trauma, navigating a difficult relationship, feeling overwhelmed by the roles you carry, moving through a transition, or realizing that your old ways of coping are no longer enough, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
If this resonates with you, I encourage you to take the first step and reach out. You can book a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, talk about what brings you to therapy, and explore what next steps might look like.
This session won’t cost you anything, but it could be the first step toward feeling more understood, reconnecting with yourself, and creating meaningful change in your life. I’m here to support you through that journey.
