Practice Information

Many individuals and families experience emotional and relational challenges as they adapt to life in a new country. The immigration process can bring significant transitions, including cultural adjustment, career changes, shifts in family dynamics, and feelings of uncertainty or isolation. As a counsellor with a cross-cultural perspective, I support immigrants, newcomers, professionals, and couples in navigating these challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and connection. I provide services in both English and Farsi, creating a supportive space where clients can communicate in the language that feels most comfortable.

If anxiety keeps you awake at night, relationship challenges feel increasingly difficult to navigate, or the demands of adjusting to life or feeling overwhelmed, support is available. If you are a couple navigating life transitions while maintaining your connection to your values, identity, and relationships, we can explore strategies to build confidence.

Whether you are newly married, navigating intercultural differences, or facing the pressures of settlement and career demands, counselling can help create greater connection and mutual understanding. I am also an approved counsellor providing psychological treatments to individuals injured in car accidents, ICBC claims, and work-related (WCB) claims. My cultural background offers me a unique perspective on the experiences of immigrants and second-generation individuals, particularly when it comes to navigating identity and Intergenerational dynamics.

I also specialize in supporting couples who are experiencing emotional disconnection, conflict, intimacy struggles, or cross-cultural issues. My goal is to help partners break out of reactive patterns, deepen emotional connection, and build secure, resilient relationships. I also facilitate workshops that foster emotional, mental, and relational well-being.

My specialty is working with individuals, based on trauma and violence, in exploring feelings of anger, shame, and guilt and their impact on their lives. In a safe, non-judgmental space, in English and Farsi.
