Practice Information
Your story deserves space, curiosity, and compassion.
There are times in life when we need somewhere to pause—a place to make sense of what we're experiencing, reconnect with ourselves, and feel supported without judgment.
I work with adults who are moving through challenging seasons of life—whether that means living with anxiety or depression, processing trauma or grief, navigating burnout, adjusting to parenthood, or finding your way through a significant life transition. I have a particular interest in supporting parents and caregivers, including those in the perinatal period and those caring for children with developmental differences or disabilities. Having spent 15 years working alongside families, I understand that caring for others can be deeply meaningful while also bringing exhaustion, uncertainty, identity shifts, and the feeling that your own needs have been placed on hold.
Whatever you're carrying, counselling can offer an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we can make sense of your experiences with compassion and curiosity while exploring what healing, growth, or change might look like for you.
I believe healing happens through connection. At the heart of my work is a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and respect. I see counselling as a collaborative process—you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as we explore your experiences together.
Rather than focusing on fixing what's "wrong," I'm interested in understanding your story, your strengths, and the ways your experiences have shaped who you are. In our sessions, we can explore patterns, emotions, relationships, and the impact of past experiences while developing greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and choice. I believe meaningful change happens at your own pace, and that therapy should feel like a space where you can bring your whole self without fear of judgment.
My work is informed by a range of therapeutic approaches, including Lifespan Integration, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness and somatic practices. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. Together, we'll find what works best for you.
For clients who enjoy being outdoors, I also offer walk-and-talk counselling. Spending time in nature can create space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and reflect in a different way. Many people find that walking side by side makes it easier to process difficult emotions while benefiting from the calming presence of the natural world.
Whatever has brought you here, you don't need to have the right words or all the answers before beginning. We can start exactly where you are.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and hold a Master of Counselling from City University of Seattle, a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Ghent (Belgium), and a Master in Journalism.
