Practice Information

I offer virtual EMDR therapy for trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and depression, and ADHD-informed support for adults across BC.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia offering virtual and phone therapy. I provide online EMDR therapy in BC for trauma, anxiety, and depression, as well as ADHD-informed counselling for individual adults.

With a client-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive approach at the core of my practice, I value offering a safe, healing space that recognizes the connection between mind and body to allow for emotional expression, truth sharing, and compassionate support. I encourage goal setting and skill building to create behavioural and emotional balance.

A central focus of my practice is EMDR therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps clients create meaningful, lasting change without needing to stay stuck in painful experiences. I support clients to process and move beyond forms of emotional distress such as:

  • trauma
  • anxiety
  • panic
  • depression
  • overwhelm
  • post traumatic stress
  • complex PTSD
  • complex grief
  • relationship issues
  • dysfunctional patterns/behaviors

In our work together, you will find a compassionate and engaged therapist who helps you imagine desired outcomes and create a roadmap to achieve your goals. I balance offering a safe space to process emotions, explore and address past trauma, and focus on future steps and practical supports.

Through a collaborative approach, I tailor interventions to meet your unique needs, drawing on integrative approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and narrative therapy. My experience extends across a spectrum of challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career concerns, grief and loss, parenting and caregiving, and substance use.

I offer ADHD-informed support to neurodivergent clients. Together, we explore the impact of ADHD on day-to-day functioning, relationships, employment, and more, while developing skills and strategies to manage its effects. I also support you in recognizing and amplifying the strengths that come alongside neurodiversity. My status as an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider reflects my training and experience in this area.

Clients often appreciate my warm demeanor, insightful guidance, and collaborative approach, and I strive to be a trusted partner in your personal growth and healing journey. I encourage you to ask questions about my values and methods to ensure a good fit.

For those who are interested, I integrate Clinical Counselling Hypnotherapy to enhance the benefits of CBT or narrative therapy. Hypnotherapy can support work with inner child healing, PTSD and other trauma, anxiety, confidence, motivation, anger management, and breaking unwanted habits. Much as we often find ourselves lost in thought, adrift in music, or immersed in work, I guide clients in harnessing this natural ability to enter a focused state and move through a personalized therapeutic experience that supports lasting positive change and emotional well-being. My training through Daybreak Therapy and Training and my designation as a Clinical Counselling Hypnotherapist-Trauma Specialty (C.Hyp) support me in providing thoughtful and competent hypnotherapy services.

I hold a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Northern British Columbia and a Master of Science in Psychology from California Southern University. I am a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers and a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
