Practice Information
You may look like you’re holding everything together on the outside, while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck internally. Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand your emotional world more clearly, and build a different relationship with yourself and others.
You might be here because…
- You find yourself overthinking and struggle to quiet your mind
- It feels challenging to communicate your needs
- Intimacy and sex feel complicated, confusing, or shame-filled
- You feel emotionally reactive, shut down, or disconnected from yourself or your partner.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who works primarily with adults navigating anxiety, relationship issues, and sex & intimacy concerns. My aim is to help you move out of your head and reconnect with your body, emotions, and authentic needs so you can feel more grounded and secure in yourself and your relationships. Many people learn to cope by disconnecting from emotions, needs, or vulnerable parts of themselves, and I believe meaningful change often begins when we can bring curiosity and compassion to these ways we have learned to cope, but are no longer serving us.
My work is informed by emotion-focused therapy and parts work approaches. I also integrate cognitive approaches such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) depending on your needs. I aim to create a collaborative space where you can better understand your emotional patterns, your protective responses, and the different parts of yourself that emerge in relationships and everyday life.
I am committed to providing an inclusive and nonjudgmental space for individuals of all backgrounds, including members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. I work from a neurodivergent-affirming and sex-positive lens, recognizing that there is no one right way to experience sexuality, relationships, intimacy, or identity. My goal is to support clients in exploring their experiences with curiosity, compassion, and authenticity.
Some of the areas I can support you with include:
- Anxiety, which may look like overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, panic, emotional burnout, or difficulty slowing your mind down
- Identity Exploration, including gender & sexuality
- Sex & Intimacy Concerns, including challenges with desire, erectile or orgasm difficulties, sexual performance anxiety, or enhancing intimacy and connection
- Relationship Issues, which may look like recurring emotional patterns, such as conflict, withdrawal, fear of rejection or abandonment, difficulty expressing needs, or feeling disconnected from each other
If you think we may be a good match, please reach out. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey!
