My name is Bonnie H. Cheng and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Registered Play Therapist. My interest and commitment are to work collaboratively with you. My goal is to better understand your concerns and help you work through challenges that present themselves. Together, we will work to strengthen the practical skills needed to manage life transitions and the many changes that accompany them.
You may be going through a number of life-challenges: trauma, struggles with relationships, stress, anxiety, grief, managing your role as a parent. There are many different types of life transitions where counselling can provide a supportive space for you to explore what you are experiencing, gain new perspectives, and develop strategies that will work for you.
Together, we will build a genuine, honest, and supportive therapeutic relationship. I believe therapy is not about simply hearing what you want to hear, but about having a safe and trusting space to explore, reflect, gain insight, and grow.
