Practice Information
I am an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider with additional training in Orton-Gillingham multisensory literacy instruction. I also hold licensure in Early Childhood Education and a Diploma in Infant Development and Supported Childcare. This interdisciplinary background informs my work with individuals and families navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress, Autism, learning disabilities, Dyslexia, emotional regulation challenges, behavioural concerns, and school-related difficulties.
Many children and youth experience overlapping features of ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, and anxiety. Difficulties with attention, executive functioning, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and academic skills often interact in complex ways. Support is tailored to address functional impact rather than focusing on diagnosis alone. Many families seek counselling when attention, executive functioning, literacy development, emotional regulation, or daily routines feel overwhelming. I also support caregivers experiencing burnout, stress, or compassion fatigue related to parenting children with developmental disabilities, neurodivergence, or complex care needs.
My approach integrates evidence-informed counselling with practical skill development to strengthen executive functioning, coping strategies, communication skills, adaptive behaviour, and emotional regulation. Sessions are collaborative, structured, and paced. Behaviour is understood as communication, and support is neurodiversity-affirming, strength-based, and trauma-informed.
Virtual counselling is offered throughout British Columbia using secure video. Mobile services may be available in the Williams Lake area depending on service type and availability.
