Practice Information
I believe in a client-centered approach, which means you are the leader of your healing. I believe you know what is best, and I am here to witness and help guide you on your journey. My core values are empathy, respect, authenticity, and autonomy, which are reflected in the therapeutic relationship I foster. Creating warmth, caring, acceptance and safe supports are fundamental in this. I also strongly believe in the mind-body connection, as our bodies hold emotions, and sometimes we need a little support to understand its message. I have cultivated my own mind-body connection by frequently tuning in through going on a hike, working on a fiber project, or connecting to my body on my yoga mat through yoga practice.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, chronic pain, chronic illness, childhood trauma, cPTSD, de-escalation, leadership, somatic trauma and more. Having family with a chronic illness and chronic pain, I understand firsthand the impacts on all aspects of life. You are unique and have unique needs; it is important to me for each session to be as unique as you are. I look forward to supporting you to build the life you desire, and I am grateful to be a part of the journey.
