Practice Information

I will probably laugh at your jokes. No, seriously! I think laughter is one of the most powerful ways we loosen the grip of fear and shame. Therapy doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical to be effective. You can expect me to be warm, steady, and straightforward with you.

The hours we spend together matter. This isn't just another conversation, it's intentional work. Real change happens when two people sit down, tell the truth, and aren't alone in it. Growth comes from facing the hard stuff head-on. It's the shame, the fear, the patterns that keep showing up. We’ll call those patterns out when they show up in session (and they will), not to shame you, but to understand them. When we can see what’s happening in real time, we can adjust. That’s where change begins.

A lot of the individuals and couples I work with are tired of feeling stuck. They want to:

  • Slow down and communicate in a way that feels honest and respectful
  • Be better partners without losing themselves
  • Communicate without it turning into a fight or shutdown
  • Leave work stress at the door instead of carrying it home
  • Heal from childhood neglect or abuse
  • Work through sexual trauma, religious trauma, narcissistic abuse
  • Repair relationships that have taken some real hits
  • Break habits that once helped them survive but now hold them back
  • Experience peace, joy, and deeper connection again

Painful experiences lead to a war on the inside, an internal battle. One part of us wants to connect, the other part wants to live alone in the woods forever. One part of us wants to quit that habit that's getting in our way and the other thinks it's the only way to be okay. That tug of war is exhausting.

My job is to help you understand those competing parts, reduce the inner conflict, and build internal alignment so you can make strong, long-term decisions — the kind you respect yourself for.

My clients have told me that they trust themselves more as a result of our work. They are more confident, less angry or people pleasing, have more acceptance of where they are at in their journey and feel closer to their loved ones. They like themselves more. They often leave saying, "Okay, that wasn't that bad."

If you're ready to do the work, we can do it — together.
