Practice information:
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor who blends perspectives of inclusiveness, feminism, social justice and trauma work into my counselling practice. I am trained in a variety of clinical methods and take an eclectic approach when working with clients, focusing therapy in respectful and collaborative ways.
I like to work with clients toward demystifying some of the more persistent problems that stand in the way of waking up each day and feeling happy and hopeful about life. Each of us can learn to meet the challenges presented to us in this life with confidence and competence, knowing that we have done our best. As our lives change, and as we adapt to these changes, I believe that it is this sense of knowing that we are doing our best, and that it’s good enough, that often falters and needs restoring.
I work with both individuals and couples who are looking to make healthy, restorative changes in their lives.
During this COVID-19 time of physical distancing and collective healing, I am available for video and telephone sessions.
