I offer counselling support that prioritizes connection and collaboration, guided by your values and needs.
I feel honoured to work alongside clients through their personal journeys of self-discovery and growth, working collaboratively with clients to explore their values and how to foster these into a meaningful life. Whether it is struggles with anxiety, parenting, relationships, mood, or past trauma, I support folks with identifying what they want to be different in their life and co-creating a plan for our work together. As a counsellor, it is a privilege to support clients in their journeys to find more joy, feel less overwhelmed by difficult emotions, improve relationships, and feel more compassion for themselves.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BCACC, with a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from UBC. I engage in continuous professional development and training, including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Feminist Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment. I have over 13 years of combined education and training working with youth, adults, and families, including within community health and public school settings. I work from a person-centered approach to help my clients feel heard, and ultimately, empowered to work toward their goals.
On a more personal level…I am a parent. I love cooking, and generally all things food related. Things that bring me joy: a good book (with a good cup of tea), laughter shared with friends and family, or a walk through the woods. I am someone that has experienced my own mental health struggles, and I’m also someone that has found going to counselling hard!
