Practice information:

Welcome. 

I work with adults of all genders and identities who are looking for support with improving mental health and self-awareness. Everyone is welcome in my practice. 

I am trauma informed, and client led. I don't have a map that I come in with to share with you, I want to learn your map and then use the skills and experience I have to help you make sense of it in the ways you are needing at this time. 

I am curious and empathic. I look for ways that the past has shaped you in your present, what defenses you may be relying on that are not productive for you. I don't pathologize, I seek to understand - sometimes we outgrow certain ways of responding to the world and ourselves. 

I work with the body and use somatic interventions to help people recognize sensation (interoception) and how to work with regulating the nervous system in ways that are wanted and accessible. I am informed my neurobiology and am always learning more about the brain and body and how I can share that information in digestible ways with the people I work with.
