Are you feeling lost, sad, or unhappy? Maybe I can help.
I view relationships as being a crucial component of holistic health, and my passion involves helping people develop better connections with others as well as with themselves.
I have a strong interest in working with adults who are experiencing relationship breakdown of all sorts, including issues related to addiction, the effects of addiction, infidelity, divorce/separation, parenting, step-parenting, blended families, and dysfunctional families of origin. I also welcome the opportunity to work with individuals who are struggling with mental health concerns and other life challenges, including symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and autoimmune disorders.
My approach to counselling involves a focus on holistic health, which means that I consider all aspects of an individual to hold value (including mind, body, spirit, and social context such as close relationships, family, friends, work/school/retirement). I believe that mental and physical health are interrelated, and that sometimes we need to address more than one area of our life in order to move forward and feel better about our journey.
I also believe that everyone has the ability to heal and feel better, and that each person is ultimately responsible for the path they choose along their journey. As such, I promote holistic wellness by incorporating education on lifestyle changes, stress management, and self-care (including diet) into my practice along with elements of emotion focused therapy (EFT), emotion focused family therapy (EFFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT).
I'm currently accepting new clients and offer free initial consultations both in person and over the phone. I also offer a sliding scale with reduced fees being possible for those who struggle to afford counselling support.
Overall, I'm excited about facilitating positive therapeutic experiences that promote growth, healing, and wellness for all.
Client fee individuals:Free initial consultation in person or by phone; $120 (60 minute session)
