Reaching out for support is not always easy. You may already have insight into what is happening in your life, yet still find yourself stuck in patterns that feel overwhelming, repetitive, or difficult to change. You might be experiencing ongoing anxiety, stress that feels constant, or emotional reactions that are intense and hard to manage. For some, this may be connected to past experiences, trauma, or symptoms of PTSD that continue to show up in daily life. If this resonates, you are not alone.
I work with individuals and couples who are looking for more than just conversation. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self aware, and motivated for change, but are seeking practical tools to manage what happens in real time. This may include anxiety, chronic stress, emotional dysregulation, trauma and PTSD, ADHD related challenges, autism and neurodiversity, relationship difficulties, or a deeper need to understand and shift long standing patterns.
My approach is structured, collaborative, and grounded in evidence based therapies. I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, trauma informed care, and attachment focused approaches to help you not only understand your experiences but also respond to them differently. In our sessions, we focus on identifying patterns, building awareness, and developing practical strategies that you can apply outside of therapy, especially in moments that feel most challenging.
For example, we may work on reducing cycles of overthinking and anxiety, managing emotional intensity without feeling overwhelmed, addressing trauma responses and triggers, improving communication in relationships, or building the capacity to tolerate uncertainty and space. The goal is not to change who you are, but to help you feel more grounded, more in control, and more confident in how you respond to your thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
I also bring a strong understanding of neurodiversity, including ADHD and autism, and how these experiences can impact emotional regulation, focus, relationships, and self perception. Therapy is adapted to fit how you process and experience the world, rather than expecting you to fit into a rigid model.
Therapy with me is active, goal oriented, and focused on real change. At the same time, it is grounded in a safe, supportive, and non judgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. We work together to create meaningful, sustainable shifts in how you think, feel, and navigate your life.
If you are looking for a practical, structured, and trauma informed approach to therapy for anxiety, stress, PTSD, ADHD, autism, or relationship challenges, I would be glad to connect with you.
Therapy can be most helpful when it not only creates insight, but also supports meaningful shifts in how you navigate your day to day life. My work is focused on helping individuals, couples, and families move through patterns that feel stuck, overwhelming, or difficult to change, particularly when these patterns are influenced by anxiety, stress, trauma, or neurodivergence.
I have a strong focus on working with ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergent experiences. This includes understanding how differences in attention, processing, sensory sensitivity, and emotional regulation can shape relationships, self perception, and daily functioning. Rather than approaching these as deficits, therapy is adapted to align with how you naturally think, feel, and engage with the world. This allows us to build strategies that feel sustainable and relevant to your lived experience.
For individuals, this may involve working through emotional intensity, difficulty with focus or follow through, patterns of overthinking, or the impact of past experiences that continue to influence the present. We focus on developing practical ways to respond to these challenges, while also building a deeper understanding of how and why these patterns show up.
In couples and family therapy, the work often centers on communication, misunderstandings, and recurring cycles that can feel difficult to break. When ADHD, autism, or other neurodivergent traits are part of the dynamic, it can add another layer of complexity to how partners or family members interpret and respond to one another. Therapy provides a space to slow this process down, build mutual understanding, and develop more effective ways of connecting and communicating.
I work with clients aged 16 and above, across diverse cultural backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. I aim to create a space that is inclusive, respectful, and affirming for individuals from all communities, including LGBTQ+ clients. Your experiences are understood within the context of your identity, culture, and environment, rather than viewed in isolation.
Sessions are guided by a balance of structure and flexibility. We may focus on specific situations you are navigating, patterns that continue to repeat, or areas where you are seeking more clarity and direction. Over time, the work becomes about building consistency in how you respond to challenges, relate to others, and engage with yourself.
This approach is particularly helpful for those who are looking for therapy that is practical, adapted to neurodiversity, and applicable beyond the therapy room, whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, autism, or relationship and family dynamics.
