Welcome. Thank you for considering the opportunity got us to work together. I offer a reflective and accepting space for us to explore your concerns collaboratively.
In Our Time Together
Our time together can be a space to look within, process difficult emotions, and help overcome recurring patterns or life events that compromise the quality of your life. This can offer a chance for a change, where you understand your experiences more comprehensively, connect with those around you more authentically, and become more efficient in navigating your inner turbulence as well as external stressors.
Together, we will explore your life more objectively.
Your past may help us make better sense of your current distress and provide helpful understanding of your emotional architecture. As such, small, conscious changes in your present endeavors can help shape your future, where you can be with yourself more wholly and peacefully - and less reactively.
I have worked with individuals and couples from many walks of lives with the complex and painful struggles. My approach focuses on supporting my clients to grow more effective tool sets and emotional resilience to accommodate life's various ups and downs, and move forward with more ease, confidence, and hope.
Education and Credentials
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I graduated from Adler University with a Masters in Counselling Psychology and have a Bachelor of Arts from University of British Columbia.
I have training in a number of treatment modalities, and I utilize a combination of modalities to bring relevant knowledge, research and perspectives into our therapy.
Individual Counselling
I work with individuals dealing with diverse concerns including issues around anxiety, anger, depression, self-esteem, attachment, trauma, grief, loneliness, work stress and relationship challenges. Individual therapy provides an opportunity to explore different facets of your experiences and share a reflective journey to consciously move towards a more fulfilling life. Therapy can help you enhance emotional flexibility and communication.
Couples Counselling
I offer couples therapy in areas of conflict management, effective communication, emotional connection, anger and resentment and other challenges within the relationship. Therapy will provide a more neutral space to review your experiences, responses, and choices that are affecting each other and explore how better-communicate those. We will work together to gain understanding beyond the current horizon and seek deeper change to promote healing and unity.
