I have always been intrigued to get to know people through their story. Working as a counsellor has allowed me to get to know clients through their life narrative and has afforded me the privilege of being able to help them mold their present and future chapters of life.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (membership #18555) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and have completed a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Communications.
My counselling work focuses on helping people process and heal from the effects of depression, anxiety, trauma (intergenerational and lived experiences), and manage difficult relationships. I also support people who are navigating family conflict, self-esteem issues, health challenges, insecurity, employment issues, life transitions, sexual dissatisfaction, and grief.
I utilize a holistic, integrative approach that draws on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Strength-Based Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I offer a warm, authentic, compassionate, and non-judgmental therapeutic experience of self-exploration and reflection that is tailored to meet your specific counselling goals.
