RECOVERY FROM PAIN IS POSSIBLE. An increasing number of studies, along with accounts of people who had successfully recovered from even years of living with pain, indicate that chronic back pain, neck pain, fibromyalgia symptoms, repetitive strain injury, headaches, and other forms of chronic pain are often not the result of structural causes, but of psychoneurobiological processes that can be reversed. Chronic pain is often the result of learned nerve pathways in the brain, and in many cases it can be eliminated or significantly reduced through psychotherapeutic processes.

Let's start together from understanding YOUR pain and creating a path to wellness that is unique for YOU. I am fascinated by the brain and body connection and the immense possibilities that arise when we open ourselves to learning and understanding how various psychoneurobiological mechanisms work, how our environments and circumstances have shaped us and continue to do so, and how we can harness the power of that understanding towards change. I specialize in working with people living with chronic/persistent pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and other psychophysiologic disorders, as well as PTSD, anxiety and depression.
My overriding clinical orientation honours the mind-body connection, neurobiology, pain reprocessing approach, somatic, experiential, psychodynamic, existential-humanistic approaches, and the bio-psycho-socio-spiritual nature of our lives.
