Hi, I’m Charlotte. Are you looking to heal from childhood wounds, the loss of someone close to you, or complex relationships? Perhaps you know you have experienced trauma or major losses and that they are impacting your life, but you don’t really know how to process them. I specialize in helping people experience growth, transformation, and healing in the face of trauma and grief. During our time together, you can expect warmth, accountability, and the space to bring your whole self.
I will help you develop awareness of the root of your issues, cultivate self-compassion for all parts of yourself, and take action to live a more authentic life. I offer somatic, relational, and mindfulness-based approaches, as well as EMDR and art therapy. These approaches offer more than just talk therapy - it allows us to deeply process and integrate traumatic experiences, and find new ways to cope with life's challenges.
Healing and growth after trauma is possible with the right support. Reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, but my job is to help you to feel safe, welcome, and clear about what to expect from therapy. If you are interested in seeing if we might be a good fit, reach out and book a free 20 minute consult today.
About Me:
I have firsthand experience with the transformation that can happen in therapy.
From a young age, I was passionate about helping others; this led me to a wide range of professional experiences including working with older adults in long term care, folks in hospice, holocaust survivors, adults with mental health challenges, and children and families in a community mental health setting. These 10+ years of experiences helped me understand the complexity and diversity of being human, our suffering, and how we heal.
In my late 20’s, I was called to an extended period of deep personal healing, including therapy, meditation retreats, plant medicine, yoga, and other therapeutic modalities. I continue to work with a variety of processes in my own life, and these experiences have attuned me to the importance of a holistic and experiential approach to healing and recovery. This experience of turning inward and looking at my own pain has directly informed my ability to hold space for those I work with.
Working through our traumas, losses, stuck patterns, and relationship difficulties is not easy, but you don't need to do it alone. I look forward to connecting with you.
