Practice Information
Hello and welcome. I help people feel less burdened by grief, loss, anxiety, and depression through walk and talk counselling in Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, BC. If you feel overwhelmed, sad, angry, or stuck, I can support you with exploring your emotions. Together, we work to lessen their power so you can feel more engaged and connected with your life. Grief can be about a person, pet, job, unexpected life change, or missed opportunity. Society often pressures us to grieve in specific ways or timelines, expecting us to "go back to how we were." I’m here to validate your unique experience and reassure you that there is no set script for healing.
My practice focuses on meaning, purpose, grief, anxiety, depression, and existential worry. Movement can help in therapy as walking helps your brain experience and process things differently than sitting in an office. It can also remove the pressure of feeling like you’re under a spotlight. Being in nature can be soothing and offers its own therapeutic benefits.
Using gentle tools and techniques, I can support you while respecting your natural pace. I offer a free 20-minute video consultation so you can get a sense of my energy and working style. I welcome your questions about walk and talk counselling, my therapeutic approach, or anything else that helps you choose the right counsellor.
Respectfully,
Catherine.
