As a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Director of Wellspring Counselling Inc., as well as an Adjunct Professor of Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia, my mission is to help you navigate the challenges of life and usher in positive change.
My therapeutic focus is broad, encompassing the management of anxiety and stress, mild to moderate depression, phobias, and significant life decisions. Additionally, I provide assistance in self-discovery, enhancing self-esteem, fostering effective parenting strategies, and improving communication for healthier relationships. Personal growth and self-development are integral elements of my practice.
In our digitally connected world, I provide comprehensive online psychotherapy sessions via a secure video counselling platform, ensuring accessibility and privacy for all my clients.
My therapeutic approach is an integrative one, informed by the latest advancements in neuroscience. I blend elements from various therapy styles including Psychodynamic, Gestalt, EMDR, and Emotion-Focused therapies. In certain cases, I also incorporate Clinical Hypnosis. This eclectic approach allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, optimizing the potential for growth and recovery.
