Practice Information

You deserve a space where you feel truly heard, understood, and supported as you explore what matters most to you.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, and grief. Together, we explore the patterns shaping your thoughts, emotions, and relationships so you can better understand yourself and begin creating meaningful change.

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and have extensive experience across both private and public healthcare settings.

My approach is relational, holistic, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, creating a supportive space where we can explore challenges, get to the root of your issues, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.

With warmth, compassion, and respect, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your inner world and uncover insights that lead to both growth and change.

What Clients Often Experience

  • Reduced anxiety and emotional overwhelm
  • Greater clarity and insight into themselves
  • Improved emotional regulation
  • Stronger self-confidence
  • Movement out of hopelessness
  • Healthier emotional expression
  • Improved relationships
  • Recognizing and addressing unhelpful behaviors
  • Healing from painful experiences such as grief and loss

My goal is to help clients build emotional resilience, capacity, and practical skills that support lasting change in their daily lives.

How I Work

Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand. You might find yourself overthinking, becoming overwhelmed, or being hard on yourself despite trying your best.

Often, these patterns take shape through the experiences and challenges we face as life unfolds. Moments where we feel rejected, misunderstood, criticized, or unseen can leave lasting impressions. Over time, these experiences can shape the beliefs we carry about ourselves, messages such as “I’m not enough,” “I’m too much,” or “something is wrong with me.”

These experiences and challenges can impact your behaviors, how you cope, show up in relationships, and how connected or confident you feel in your work and in daily life.

In therapy, we gently bring these patterns into awareness. Together, we slow things down and begin to understand the deeper layers underneath your experiences, including how past and present relationships may still be shaping your thoughts, emotions, and responses today.

As this work unfolds, many clients begin to recognize the protective strategies they developed to cope — such as people-pleasing, perfectionism, emotional withdrawal, or harsh self-criticism. While these strategies often began as ways of protecting yourself, they can begin to limit growth and connection over time.

Our work together focuses on understanding these patterns with curiosity and compassion, while developing new ways of responding that feel more aligned with who you are today.

My Therapeutic Approach

My work integrates several evidence-based approaches, including:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – identifying and restructuring unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, giving you tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.

Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) – working with emotions to deepen understanding, reduce overwhelm, and and strengthen connection with yourself and others.

Attachment-Based Therapy – exploring how early experiences shape present-day patterns, helping to build more secure and healthy relationships.

Somatic & Nervous System-Based Approaches – working with the mind-body connection, developing tools to regulate the nervous system, emotion regulation, and increase inner safety.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) – exploring different “parts” of your internal psyche, such as the inner critic or perfectionist, to foster greater self-understanding and compassion.

Sessions are collaborative, structured, and focused on meaningful change.

Couples Therapy

My work also includes couples therapy. When working with couples, I draw from

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy
  • Nervous System-Based Strategies
  • Attachment
  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy

This integrative approach allows me to support couples in:

  • understanding emotional patterns and negative interaction cycles
  • improving communication
  • rebuilding trust and connection.
  • Strengthening emotional safety
  • Building a more secure partnership

Sessions are structured yet empathetic, helping partners feel seen, supported, and better equipped to navigate challenges together.

Therapy can be a powerful space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with yourself. You don’t have to carry what you’re going through on your own.

Our work together is collaborative and guided by curiosity, compassion, and respect for your unique story. Through this process, many clients begin to experience greater self-understanding, emotional balance, and a deeper sense of self-worth.

If you feel that working together might be a good fit, I warmly invite you to reach out.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation where we can connect, discuss what you’re hoping for from therapy, and see whether this feels like the right space for you.
