CounsellingBC – 2026 Listing
At Pathways Play Therapy Services, my mission is to support children’s mental and emotional wellbeing, strengthen their attachments, and increase their connection to self. As a play therapist and child counsellor, I work exclusively with children and those who care about them.
My approach is based in neurodiversity-affirming, anti-oppressive, and socially just practice, and centres on supporting neurodivergent toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary-aged children with challenging behaviours, emotions, and thoughts that are causing distress.
I provide child-centered and child-led play therapy, with a focus on respecting autonomy, building nervous system safety and relationship, validating differences, and supporting self-advocacy. I work alongside Autistic children, ADHDers, and children with sensory processing and learning differences, to help children recognize and learn new ways to regulate their emotions, sensory needs, and energy. My work is centered on increasing self-understanding, positive identity development, and mental wellness.
Just as importantly, I also partner with parenting adults to make sense of the struggles their child is facing and uncover ways to help them live a more joyful and fulfilled life.
My ultimate goal is for children to get to be their own healthy and connected one-of-a-kind selves, and for families to feel supported along the way.
