Practice Information
I am a Registered Social Worker who works with teens and adults seeking support for their mental health or simply looking to enhance their overall well-being. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with neurodiversity, teenagers, as well as those navigating the impacts of trauma. I also have a special interest in working with people living with chronic illness and chronic pain.
As a counsellor who started my career in the behavioural realm, I have a large toolbox of practical tools to help you move towards your goals. However, experience has taught me that the most healing happens when sessions go beyond skill-building, and you are given a safe venue to uncover, explore, and connect with your emotions, thoughts, and somatic sensations. I strive to create a space that feels comfortable, and includes joy, humor, and laughter. I avoid sessions feeling rigid or clinical, because I believe healing happens when we can be our truest selves.
My hope for our time together is that you are empowered see unseen possibilities, connect and relate to yourself in deeper and more compassionate ways, and make space for more curiosity, creativity, and play in your life. My work is trauma-informed, anti-ableist, culturally responsive, and identity affirming.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about my practice. I am happy to speak to you more about what our time together could look like, or refer you onwards if either of us feel like I am not the right fit for your needs.
