With a deep-rooted belief in the capacity for healing, personal growth, and transformation, I am honoured to offer my support on your unique journey. People often reach out to me when they feel stuck, struggle with placing their self-worth in the hands of others, yearn for deeper connections in their relationships, or seek an understanding of their emotions and behaviours. No matter where you find yourself, I’ll meet you there.
For those who are new to counselling, I understand the apprehension and uncertainty that can come with starting this process. I want to acknowledge the significance of taking this step and reaching out. Together, we can shed light on what may be holding you back or leaving you stuck and create a plan to move forward.
One area that holds great significance for me is supporting highly sensitive people, deep feelers, and empaths. I am passionate about helping them navigate their unique gifts and experiences, working towards normalizing their journey. Additionally, I am dedicated to supporting individuals and couples with concerns around anxiety, burnout, worry, stress, perfectionism, self-doubt, self-esteem, grief and loss, communication and intimacy.
At the heart of my practice lies a collaborative, holistic, person-centered, and strength-based perspective. This is really just the foundation of my view that my clients are the experts in their own lives. They possess intimate knowledge of what it feels like to navigate a difficult breakup or awaken to the grip of anxiety. They are well-acquainted with their past strategies of healing, and I firmly believe that within them resides invaluable wisdom to guide their recovery journey. I aim to meet my clients where they are and work with them and their nervous systems instead of against them.
Furthermore, I don't believe counselling can be reduced to a one-size-fits-all model. The complexity of human experiences deserves careful consideration of numerous factors. Therefore, I draw upon a diverse range of modalities, meticulously selecting the most suitable approaches for each individual. With this said Internal Family Systems is often my go-to modality when working with individuals followed closely by Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. When working with couples, I strongly lean on Emotion Focused Therapy.
With genuine warmth and gentle strength, I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you on this healing journey.
