Practice Information
I offer a neuroaffirming, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. My approach is grounded in therapies that are respectful of neurodivergent experiences—you won't find approaches here that aim to suppress or "fix" neurodivergent traits or that have been shown to be harmful, distressing or traumatizing. Rather than focusing on changing your behaviours, I work to understand them. Together, we'll explore what your nervous system is communicating, identify your strengths, build supports that work for you, and look at how your environment may be contributing to the challenges you're experiencing.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that supports the reprocessing of trauma, distressing experiences, and unhelpful belief patterns that no longer serve you. EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences and create space for more adaptive, self-supportive ways of living.
Many of my clients also experience challenges such as disordered eating, intrusive or persistent thoughts (including OCD), depression, anxiety, and/or PTSD. These experiences are common and understandable responses to living in environments that may not always feel supportive or regulating. I also incorporate nervous system regulation into my work with my dog, Charlie. His calm and gentle presence can help clients feel more grounded, supported, and at ease, making it easier to build trust, regulate emotions, and engage in the therapeutic process.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), and ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider. I have completed advanced training in autism, late-identified autistic adults, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I offer direct billing to insurance providers for ease of payments.
