Additional Information about this counsellor or psychologist:

I am a Registered Psychologist, with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I provide individual psychotherapy to adult and older adolescent clients for a variety of presenting issues, including depression, anxiety and panic, trauma, family and relationship difficulties, self-esteem, cross-cultural issues, life transitions, spirituality, personal growth, social anxiety/loneliness, workplace stress/burnout, grief/loss, and separation and divorce.

I tailor my therapeutic approach to each client's needs and draw from my training and experience with a variety of therapeutic approaches, including experiential/gestalt, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, and psychodynamic traditions. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, and lifestyles. I am committed to providing a safe, respectful, and confidential environment for individuals wishing to explore their personal concerns.

I am known for my warm and empathetic therapeutic style. I believe in a client-centred and collaborative therapeutic process, in which clients are an active participant in the therapeutic process and achieve greater well-being and empowerment through increased self-awareness and understanding of their own experiences. I believe in each client’s unique strengths and abilities to discover their inner wisdom, and by drawing upon these, aim to help clients develop the tools to cope with life’s challenges and create a life that leads to greater satisfaction.

Fees for psychological services are $150/hour. Fees may be covered through your extended health or employee assistance program. Psychologists' fees are also income tax deductible as medical expenses.

I am an authorized counselling provider for the Crime Victims Assistance Program. If you or a family member are a victim of a proscribed offense, you may qualify for coverage of your counselling sessions.

I am also an approved out-of-network provider for Value Options, an Employee Assistance Program for a number of organizations, including the Screen Actors Guild.
