I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor who sees individuals and couples for therapy in downtown Vancouver, including VPD Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP) clients.
I work with individuals and couples, and specialize in relationship counselling, conflict resolution, and substance use issues. I also offers solution-oriented career/executive coaching.
There are many reasons why a person may find themselves stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what to do next. Most people will find that counselling can help. In therapy, we will uncover and nurture your strengths, identify what's causing your current problem, and gain insight into how you have gotten to this place. From there we will look at what is working well for you now, and what you want to change. You are the expert on your life and you choose what steps to take next. We can then work on little changes that, over time, can amount to new, more effective ways of being your best self, the person you want to be. Couples will be able to develop new ways of communicating more effectively, building intimacy, and strengthening their connection.
Whether you want to work on yourself, or work through issues with your partner, finding a therapist that is a good fit is the first step. Please contact me for a free phone consultation, (usually 15 - 30 minutes) to discuss your goals for counselling, and ask any questions you might have about what to expect.
