My strengths-based approach in therapy is focused on 'what works' rather than 'what doesn't', with aim to build up on existing internal strengths and resourcefulness. My counselling practice includes CBT, DBT, Gestalt, Sandplay, Solution Focused and Emotionally Focused therapies offered through the lens of Attachment theory.
I prefer experiential approach, which involves role playing, movements and reflective exercises with aim to identify and address hidden and subconscious issues for better understanding of past experiences, release of feelings of anger, hurt or shame.
In addition to therapy, I use coaching techniques and exercises to work on setting and prioritizing goals and moving forward in life and provide psycho-educational materials on thought process, self-care, self-compassion, core values, communications skills and conflict resolution.
My 'Guilt-Free Living' program for women is designed to support them to heal their emotional pain through addressing past traumas and to find that confidence again, let go of guilt and be 'unapologetically' themselves. The program offers tools and strategies to reduce stress, build boundaries, improve relationships, increase confidence & self-esteem. Childhood psychological traumas, emotional neglect and abuse, shame, guilt and self-esteem issues are big part this work.
